MAP:ART youth participants unveil their community arts projects that address issues of racism and discrimination in Vancouver.
The Media Arts Program Anti-Racism Trajectories, (MAP-ART) is a six-session intensive media arts program for immigrant, refugee, indigenous, racialized, of-colour, LGBTQ, two spirited and ‘at-risk’ youth between the ages of 13 and 21. MAP-ART involved weekly programming and a three-day intensive media creation process where youth participated in discussion and storytelling while gaining specific anti-racism and media skills.
