It’s pretty much eastVan’s Big Thing in November: the annual Eastside Culture Crawl, now in its 16th year. You can decode the binary on the plexiglas screen and play with Memento boxes ― I’ll be in William Clark Studios, at the south-east corner of William Street & Clark Drive, with a couple dozen other artists who sculpt, paint, print, stitch and carve.
From Main Street, through Strathcona and up to Victoria Drive, [check out the map] 400 artists will welcome you into their studios.
Many of us will offer you cookies.
Studios open: Friday 5pm-10pm
Saturday 11am-6pm
Sunday 11am-6pm
William Clark Studios is at 1310 William Street. I’m in studio # 3, on your right as you come up the single flight of stairs.
